Shared accommodation and group living

The primary objective of our supported accommodation is to offer young individuals a stable and consistent living environment, so facilitating uninterrupted access to essential local services like college and healthcare.

Additionally, our approach promotes the cultivation of robust community ties. The provision of housing fosters a sense of positive self-esteem, mitigates the effect of stigma, and bolsters the confidence of young individuals in relation to their prospects.

Who we support:

Ibsho Social Care offers supported living for young people who are under the care of social services and those who are transitioning out of care, specifically targeting young people between the ages of 16 and 18. These individuals exhibit a certain level of independence, which may be relatively high or increasing, and are deemed ready to acquire additional skills that will facilitate their transition into adulthood.

Our facilities and accommodation:

Ibsho Social Care provides young people with a secure and comfortable living environment in a two-storey building, including well-maintained bedrooms, social spaces, a gym, and shared learning spaces. The accommodation also features an attractive garden.

Advocacy and the rights of young people:

Teens and care leavers have the right to an independent advocate who can help them express their views, wishes, and feelings regarding their care and lives, and make a complaint if necessary.

Providing personalised support to teenagers that addresses their unique needs, aspirations, and challenges, promoting individual growth and well-being.
